Overview

The Business Analyst II - Digital Solutions will work closely with stakeholders across all business functions to develop and maintain a roadmap for the delivery of digital capabilities to solve business problems. This role will lead the efforts of gathering, validating and translating business requirements into design and development specifications to deliver digital solutions, including both Commercial-off-the-Shelf packages and custom-developed to the enterprise. They will also act as the liaison between development staff, corporate functions, management, and end users.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities required.

5+ years experience in Information Technology field or applicable department is required.

Relevant work experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager.

Experience supporting web based products of all sizes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners and IT staff to develop and maintain a roadmap to deliver technologies and digital capabilities that provide process improvements and have a positive impact on business performance.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to provide excellent customer service; keep stakeholder(s) informed of progress, changes, risks and problems throughout the various phases of solution delivery.
  • Anticipate changes in technologies and understand the impact on the business processes, work to minimize negative impacts while looking to leverage new features/functionality to drive process improvements; develop a deep understanding of current systems and processes and analyze impact of changes as new solutions are introduced.
  • Monitor, track and respond to requests from stakeholders; proactively use requests, help desk tickets and observations as input into the digital capabilities roadmap.
  • Drive collaboration between various internal stakeholder(s) and IT to aid in the execution of all stages of projects from concept and requirements to final hand-off to end users; interpret and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Create, edit and update test plans/work instructions and educate appropriate stakeholders on how to use/test solution; perform initial testing to ensure agreed upon solution(s) are met before handoff to stakeholder for testing.
  • Identify training opportunities for end users of existing technologies.
  • Triage all new requests and support tickets for the Web Applications team and translate requests into actionable, prioritized work items; ensure collaboration with stakeholders throughout the life of the request.
  • Ensure successful adoption of delivered solutions by aligning user readiness, communication, and training activities with corporate stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
