About the Role

As a Fleet Deployment Specialist (FDS), you will play a critical role in ensuring autonomous vehicle readiness and operational excellence. This includes non-routine vehicle logistics, troubleshooting, charging setup, vehicle movement, and cleanliness standards. You will work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment, ensuring vehicles are safe, operational, and fully prepared for deployment in accordance with Moove’s and our partner’s standards.


What You’ll Be Doing
  • Vehicle Launch & Troubleshooting: Support AV troubleshooting during vehicle launch, software updates, and readiness checks.

  • Fleet Operations: Arrange, maneuver, and transit vehicles as required, including charger setup and plug-in/unplug cycles.

  • Vehicle Driving: Safely operate and drive vehicles on public and private roads when required for deployment, repositioning, or service needs.

  • Vehicle Cleanliness & Readiness: Perform interior and exterior cleaning, biohazard removal, sanitization, and workstation upkeep.

  • Operational Reporting: Complete daily reports, checklists, and documentation in line with partner safety and operational standards.

  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold Moove AV’s safety standards in all tasks inside and outside vehicles.

  • Team Efficiency: Contribute to overall shift efficiency and operational throughput by following SOPs and checklists.

  • Technical Systems Use: Learn and utilize proprietary software systems to monitor vehicle states, log tasks, and communicate updates.

What You Will Need
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required

  • Driving & Background:

    • Valid driver’s license (must be maintained during employment).

    • Clean driving record that meets state AVT (Autonomous Vehicle Tester)

    • Must meet state and federal criminal background standards.

    • Comfortable and confident operating vehicles in both controlled and real-world environments.

  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using modern technology systems, apps, and digital communication platforms.

  • Adaptability: Ability to respond quickly to changing, high-pressure, or fast-paced environments.

  • Work Ethic: Strong time management, reliability, and commitment to continuous learning.

  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work and reside in the United States.

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Stand, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

    • Perform repetitive motions (scrubbing, wiping, polishing).

    • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

    • Work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions.

    • Maintain coordination, focus, and endurance to handle, clean, and drive vehicles safely and efficiently in alignment with internal and partner standards across all shifts and conditions.
