HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
INFLUENCE
  • Participate in all phases of the design process from concept development through artwork production.
  • Translate clients' needs and ideas into compelling concepts that express their mission and purpose.
CREATIVITY
  • Support project execution from storyboard to final design.
  • Engage by using curiosity, empathy, and intuition to clarify complex ideas, visions and strategies.
  • Design creative, highly detailed solutions across all media types that express a unique vision, including two- and three-dimensional graphics, signage, and exhibits.
  • Develop documentation for a variety of design projects to include graphic programs, wayfinding and signage systems, donor recognition programs and interpretive exhibits, under the direction of design leaders.
  • Produce camera-ready artwork for fabrication.
COLLABORATION
  • Communicate during team calls and actively engage in lively design critique.
  • Prepare visualizations and mockups of proposed signage and graphic content on digital models.
  • Collaborate with design leaders on the EGD team and the larger project team.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.
  • Strong design portfolio and background in a variety of markets.
  • Strong typography skills.
  • Robust communication skills and proven strategies for collaborating in fast-moving, complex project teams.
  • Must have demonstrated skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design and environments.
  • Must have a working knowledge and experience in all phases of design process.
  • Must be analytical and an independent thinker.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Proficiency on Mac in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required. Skills in Revit and SketchUp a plus.
