Corgan seeks an outstanding senior level designer with experience and passion for visual story-telling through graphic communication in the built environment to join our Brand + Graphics team. 

This individual will join a team of creatives and support our Brand + Graphics team as a key contributor in the design, documentation, and implementation of experiential graphic design features. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, and consultants as well as clients, to deliver projects across sectors. 

Responsibilities
  • Providing technical expertise and creative leadership across multiple projects that touch a variety of sectors such as Office, Multifamily, Aviation, Education, Data Centers and more. 
  • Design concept support and development, ideally using 3D modeling or other software tools 
  • Guiding the design team in the practical and real-world buildability of concepts 
  • Reviewing and redlining designs, documentation and production art generated by junior staff members (QA/QC, detail-oriented) 
  • Assisting in punch walks and site observation during installation and reviewing shop drawings/submittals  
  • Coordination directly with vendors, contractors, and trade partners 
  • Clearly communicating with Project Managers and Directors throughout the duration of projects 
  • Identifying opportunities to train and grow junior staff 
Qualifications

Qualified applicants should have a bachelor's degree in one or more of the following: visual communication/graphic design, interior design, architecture, environmental design, industrial design, experiential design or a related field; and have at least 5 years of experience in Environmental/Experiential Graphic Design or Fabrication. 

Other qualifications include: 

  • A strong portfolio of work featuring signage, branded environments, donor recognition, identity development and/or digital design for the built environment 

  • Knowledge in wayfinding strategies and signage programming. SEGD membership/involvement a huge plus 

  • Familiarity with architectural construction documents, scales, sections, plans and elevations 

  • Possess a strong knowledge of typography and application of three-dimensional design 

  • Exceptional knowledge of the Adobe Suite software to produce design intent packages for bid/fabrication; experience in other 3D modeling and visualization software (such as Revit) is a plus.  

  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word is required. 

  • Knowledge of and experience with construction materialsand production methods 

  • Outstanding and comprehensive attention to detail from design elements to file structures 

  • Collaborative and professional work ethic and a motivation to grow 

  • Flexible attitude, strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, confident presentation abilities and willingness to consistently juggle multiple deadlines. A team player with ability to motivate high-quality work from a team 

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
