As a key player in the luxury bath products industry, SW Corp is seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Category Manager to manage sourcing activities, optimize the supply chain, and ensure we maintain competitive pricing while adhering to our high-quality standards.
Job Overview:
The Global Sourcing Category Manager will be responsible for managing the global sourcing activities for a category of SW Corp products, including luxury tubs, sinks, and related bath products. The role involves working closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery while aligning with the company's growth objectives. You will focus on developing and executing sourcing strategies to maximize profitability and supply chain efficiency, contributing to SW Corp' continued leadership in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for specific product categories to meet business objectives, ensuring cost optimization, product quality, and timely delivery from global suppliers.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers across multiple regions to secure competitive pricing, improve product quality, and ensure reliable delivery schedules.
  • Cost Optimization & Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to drive cost savings while maintaining product quality standards. Ensure all agreements are aligned with SW Corp' budget and strategic goals.
  • Product & Category Management: Oversee the sourcing for specific categories of products (e.g., tubs, sinks, faucets, etc.), ensuring the selection of high-quality materials and products that meet market demands.
  • Global Market Analysis & Trends: Stay up-to-date on global market trends, raw material pricing, and supplier capabilities to ensure MTI Baths remains competitive in the luxury bath products space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, sales, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with product launches, promotional campaigns, and supply chain requirements.
  • Inventory Management & Demand Planning: Collaborate with inventory and demand planning teams to ensure the right amount of stock is available, avoiding both excess inventory and stockouts.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Assess and mitigate risks related to global sourcing, including geopolitical risks, currency fluctuations, and compliance with international trade regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in global sourcing, supply chain management, or category management, preferably in the luxury home products or consumer goods sector.
  • Proven track record of managing sourcing activities, negotiating contracts, and building supplier relationships in global markets.
  • Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, supply chain optimization, and sourcing best practices.
  • Experience with inventory management, demand forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, cost structures, and trends to make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:
