Description

Position Summary

The responsibilities of the mitigation technician include assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved, cleaning damaged properties, removing, and replacing damaged materials, and sanitizing the restored sites. To be successful as a mitigation technician, the employee must be physically capable, have a keen understanding of safety gear, and be able to follow instructions.


Key Responsibilities

  • High level performance of water mitigation, and mold remediation services according with industry specifications under supervision.
  • Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
  • Able to monitor and provide appropriate documentation.
  • Drive company vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
  • Ability to provide company management with timely and accurate information related to the progress and status of projects.
  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Reachable by phone during waiting to be engaged periods, but otherwise free to use your time for personal activities unless contacted to report for duty. 
  • Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
  • Willingness to participate in all training as needed or required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience/Education/Qualifications

  • 1 or more of IICRC Restoration Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.) preferred.
  • 2 or more years as an experienced Mitigation Technician preferred.
  • 1-2 years of general work experience.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing without restrictions.
