Job Description
  • Responsible for water jet machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units.
  • Program and operate a Omax Waterjet with customer's drawings and specifications
  • Start and stop the machine, load/feed the machine, and monitor machines operation.
  • Monitor production to insure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product and the machine.
  • Make sure the equipment is in top operation performance and alert supervisor of repairs when needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Complete the proper transactions for each job.
  • Label material with correct descriptions.
  • Meet or exceed customer's specifications as outlined on the manufacturing order.
  • Make sure the job and materials are of good quality.
  • Any other general machine operation tasks or responsibilities assigned by his or her supervisors.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of machinery and/or tools
  • Mechanical Ability
  • Auto CAD experience a plus
  • Be able to work with manufacturing personnel to maintain product quality and consistent output
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physical environment.
  • Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, sitting and squatting
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
  • Basic program reading skills using MS Windows applications as well as downloading files
  • Fundamental understanding of M and G codes
  • Must be eighteen years of age and possess a HS Diploma or GED

Additional Information
This is a contract position with an opportunity to turn into a full time position.
Pay is between $14 - $16 per hour.
