Job description

Diversified Support Services is seeking a skilled Waterjet / Numerical Control Operator to support precision machining operations in the Acworth, GA area. This role is ideal for candidates with handson CNC experience and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe work practices. The operator will play a key part in meeting production goals while maintaining machining excellence in a fastpaced industrial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform precision machining operations by monitoring feed rates, speeds, and specialized instruments.
  • Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and scales to ensure accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions by editing specifications and supporting maintenance activities.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, including cleaning and maintaining safe workspaces.
  • Utilize blueprints, dimensions, machine instructions, and project guidelines to complete machining tasks.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a related machining or CNC role.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Technical school accreditation or skilled trades program completion.
