About the Opportunity:
Gastro Health is seeking a full time endoscopy RN to join our outpatient endoscopy center in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will educate patients, document procedures, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
As an Endoscopy RN Lead with Gastro Health, you will:
  • Assist the physicians to provide direct patient care for colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures
  • Completion of admission assessments
  • Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
  • Preparation for discharging patients
  • Post-anesthesia care

Candidate Requirements:
  • Current Virginia RN license (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
