Job description

Job Title: Enterprise Project Manager / Scrum Master Consultant

Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Fully Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Interview Process: One Round Virtual Interview

Position Overview:
The client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager / Scrum Master Consultant to facilitate and support Agile Scrum processes across project and operational teams. This position has been created to support growing project demands and ensure effective implementation of Scrum methodologies within enterprise initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong Scrum Master experience, expertise with Agile tools and Azure DevOps, and the ability to manage hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects within enterprise or government environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming sessions.
• Coach and guide project teams on Agile/Scrum best practices and methodologies.
• Work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved.
• Manage and track project progress using Azure DevOps and Agile project management tools.
• Support hybrid project management methodologies combining Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Monitor sprint metrics, team performance, impediments, and project risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Assist with project planning, reporting, and documentation activities.
• Support database querying and programming-related project activities as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience leading Scrum ceremonies.
• 3+ years of experience with DB Querying and Programming.
• 3+ years of experience using Agile Project Management tools.
• 3+ years of experience managing hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree (field of study open, but degree must be completed and verifiable).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• Government/Public Sector experience.
• ERP project experience.

Additional Information:
• This is a fully onsite role; remote work is not permitted.
• Candidate must currently reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate prior to starting the assignment at their own expense.
