What is a water tower?

Water towers are elevated structures that store water and help maintain consistent water pressure throughout a community’s water supply system. By using gravity, they deliver water to homes and businesses even during high demand or power outages. Water towers also serve as reservoirs to ensure a steady supply for firefighting and emergencies. Their height and capacity are designed to meet the needs of the area they serve.
