SUNLAND ASPHALT Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC. is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to join our growing team.Sunland is a leading asphalt solutions provider and general contractor known for delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and innovation to its customers. With a reputation built on decades of combined industry expertise, we specialize in a full range of services-including commercial and residential paving, maintenance and repair, sealcoating, milling, and large‑scale infrastructure projects. WE'RE OFFERING:Competitive Weekly Pay and Paid Time Off 401(K)Work/Life Balance and Community InvolvementComprehensive Health Benefits including; Health, Dental, VisionLife/Disability Insurances Award Winning Peers & ProjectsAnd A Foundation Built on SafetyESSENTIAL DUTIES:Operate water trucks safely on construction sites, road projects, and other work zones.Spray water on roads, haul routes, and work areas to control dust and maintain air quality.Provide soil moisture for grading, compaction, and earthwork operations.Fill and refill water tanks from approved water sources.Inspect truck, tank, pumps, hoses, valves, and spray systems before and after operation.May set up and tear down equipment.Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day.Load, transport, and distribute non-potable or potable water as assigned.Respond promptly to changing site conditions and operational needs.Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.Report equipment malfunctions, accidents, hazards, or safety concerns immediately.Work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.Support other construction activities and labor tasks as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or GED is preferred.Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience is preferred.Fluent in English, i.e., able to speak, read and write English preferred. A current, Class A, CDL license in the state where the majority of work is being performed is required. A Hazmat or tanker endorsement may be required depending on position/dept./division.Must be able to pass DOT physical and maintain a current medical card.Must pass a DOT drug test and a safety road test.Must have a clean motor-vehicle record.
