Job description

Introduction:
We are looking for a Busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining area. Busser responsibilities include clearing plates, glasses and silverware, cleaning tables, and cleaning the front-of-house (floors, restrooms, walls). If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and want to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.
Morning shift only. Hours may vary, but schedule would be around 7am-3pm.
Responsibilities:
    • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
    • Place tableware and condiments on tables
    • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
    • Bus and clean tables after guests leave
    • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
    • Clean floors
    • Clean restrooms
    • Miscellaneous cleaning
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus

Skills:
  • Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
