Job Summary

As a Quality Manager, you will lead the site's quality strategy and programs, ensuring products, processes, and systems meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence. This role is instrumental in maintaining ISO compliance, supporting third-party certifications, and advancing plant objectives related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost management.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring all inspections, testing, First Shot Approvals, product releases, and non-conformance activities are completed in accordance with company, customer, and certification requirements.
  • Oversee Quality Laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and calibration, inventory management, budget administration, and the accurate reporting of quality data in our systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, ISO 9001/14001 requirements, and third-party certifications by leading audits, management reviews, corrective and preventive actions, and certification activities
  • Approve Certificates of Compliance, verify raw material and component conformance, and maintain quality documentation that supporting production and customer requirements.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to monitor quality performance, resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities, and support plant goals related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with certifying agencies and external partners while coordinating audits and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, plastics industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 standards, quality management systems, data analysis, reporting, auditing, corrective actions, and third-party certifications.
  • Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP ERP system experience is an asset
