Position Type: Part-Time Seasonal
Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the Water Director, the water system maintenance worker performs daily water maintenance responsibilities for the City of Bountiful.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsibilities include new water main line and service line installation.
  • Assist with water main line and service leak repair.
  • Requires lifting parts involved in a water system such as pipe, valves, and fittings.
  • Pressure Regulating Valves maintenance.
  • Assist with keeping job sites safe from hazards for crews and the public.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This is an entry level position.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
General knowledge of hand tools.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a valid Utah Driver's License
Successfully pass a background check, a driving record check, and a pre-employment drug test
