Jet/Vac Truck Operator – Lead Operating High-Impact Civil Projects with M&M Pipe Services


Job Overview

  • Company: M&M Pipe Services
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (Bonus on meeting production goals)
  • Location: Knoxville, TN (100% Travel Required)
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time
  • Schedule: 5x10 Schedule (Monday – Friday)
  • Project Scope: Industrial, Government, and Federal Underground Utility & Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Class B CDL


The Opportunity

You will step into a pivotal leadership role as we prepare to double our field operations from two to four crews. By taking over truck operations within one of our high production teams, you will help drive efficiency and effectiveness within the field team. This is your chance to secure a high-visibility position in a growing family-owned business where your field leadership directly impacts company growth.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead daily field operations, driving the jet/vac truck and overseeing line cleaning and jetting on federal and industrial job sites.
  • Operate combination sewer trucks, high-pressure water jetting systems, and vacuum booms safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and execute routine field maintenance to keep equipment fully operational.
  • Manage on-site mechanical challenges and keep daily production schedules strictly on track.
  • Enforce Confined Space Entry procedures, traffic control protocols, and company safety standards across all operations.
  • Document daily production metrics, including cleaning footage, water usage, and waste disposal logs.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL B).
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience operating jet/vac trucks equipment.
  • Maintaining profitable job site effeciency.
  • Full availability to travel out of town on a 100% basis with overnight stays.
  • Ability to handle heavy vacuum hoses and lift up to 75 lbs in all weather conditions.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Trade Program or Technical Certification in a related civil utility field.
  • OSHA 10/30 and Confined Space Entry certifications.
  • Experience in trenchless pipe rehabilitation around live utilities.
