Job description

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to fabricate metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This position will also operate water jet cutting equipment and production saws as required to support fabrication schedules and production demands. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, performing machine setups, conducting quality inspections, and safely operating various fabrication equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Press Brake Operations
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications.

Waterjet Operations
  • Set up and operate CNC waterjet cutting equipment.
  • Verify cut quality and dimensional accuracy of finished components.

Saw Operations
  • Operate horizontal, vertical, and/or cold saws to cut raw materials according to production requirements.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating waterjet cutting equipment.
  • Experience operating industrial saws and fabrication equipment.
  • Forklift and overhead crane certification.
