Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee the security/safety of the entire facility and the employees.

Assistant and backup to the Director of Operations

Interfacing with the hotel staff as far as security/safety issues.

Interfacing with the corporate clients.


Secondary Responsibilities:

Have the ability to perform the duties of the NOC

Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Monthly checks of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and exit lighting.

Certified instructor for CPR, MSA (respirator kits), and AED's - within one year.

Forklift instructor/trainer - within one year.

Advanced knowledge of the HIRSCH Security System and America Dynamics Systems CCTV systems.

Coordinate the operation for the Key Watcher box with IT/Comms.

Sign making on the Maxi-Soft Sign Maker.

Maintain and organize operational site drawings of the facility.

Maintain and manage the electronic database for various operational processes to include,

o Inventory

o Training

o Work orders

o Purchase Request budget

Maintain and manage the annual schedule calendar on Outlook Calendar

Maintain and manage the organization of internal files and documents.

Maintain and manage SOP's, Emergency plans, warm-site set-up guides.


Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)

8:30am - 4:30pm (Monday thru Friday) - schedule can be flexible

May occasionally be called in on nights or weekends to assist with Security/Safety issues

May be required to work past 4:30pm or return later in the evening due to client contractual agreements or client requests.

Educational Requirements: 


High School diploma or equivalent


Technical Requirements:

Possess a valid driver's license.

Advanced knowledge of computer systems.

Possess the ability to learn the HIRSCH, Velocity, and security camera systems.

Operationally proficient in Outlook Calendar

Operationally proficient in Excel workbooks and Access data bases.

Operationally proficient in creating/editing input data forms which link to databases

Able to conduct training classes in related operational duties.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift at least 40lbs.

Must be comfortable walking, sitting, standing and using stairs.
