What you'll do

• Manage water and wastewater infrastructure and process design projects for municipal and private sector clients
• Lead project teams in the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Oversee hydraulic modeling and system analysis using tools such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks WS, or InfoWater
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders including water/sewer authorities
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance development for project staff
• Utilize project tracking tools to monitor progress, resources, and financial performance
• Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

What you bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 7+ years of experience in the design and management of municipal water and wastewater projects
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater (Innovyze) preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously
• Experience leading and developing project teams
• Strong understanding of project management principles including scope, schedule, and budget control
• Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Vision or Microsoft Project
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Experience working on projects located in the southeastern United States preferred
