Job description

Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Part-Time Water and Wastewater Treatment Instructor position This position is located on Atlanta Tech's Main Campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.
Job Description:
  • Teaches assigned Water and Wasterwater courses including but not limited to Introduction to Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment Processes and Distribution, and Water Distribution and Backflow in accordance with course competencies and syllabi;
  • Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of students;
  • Fosters a safe and civil learning environment
  • informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
  • Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and appropriate certification;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in biology or other related science field may substitute for the education list above;
  • High school diploma and 4 year of non-teaching related work experience;
  • Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm; evenings and weekends
