Job Summary:
Ally Waste is hiring for the exciting Waste Leveler position which is a fundamental role to deliver our waste support services to the apartment communities we serve. The Waste Leveler role consists of redistributing trash flow, cleaning up around dumpsters and compactors, and maintaining detailed reports. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Using a company truck, drive to 20-25 properties daily on assigned route
  • Check in, take photos, and document bulky items/furniture at each property using our proprietary app
  • Sweep up around each dumpster or compactor
  • Break down large boxes and ensure proper recycling practices are being followed
  • Where necessary, move trash bags from one dumpster to another to eliminate overflowing trash
  • Work quickly and efficiently to complete route before waste hauler arrives
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
  • Must be able to get in and out of truck hundreds of times throughout the shift
  • Must be able to move quickly using a broom and dust pan
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle safely for 8+ hours at a time
  • Must be able to work the early shift of 4 AM to 12 PM
