Location: Warsaw Meadows Care Center – Warsaw, IN

Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures, ensuring high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

Shift:
  • Part-Time – 20+ hours/week

  • 5am-1pm day shift and every other weekend

Responsibilites:

  • Prepare all served food

  • Plan food production to align with scheduled meal times

  • Memorize, record, and follow menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions

  • Follow standard recipes and accommodate special diet orders

  • Safely and efficiently operate standard kitchen equipment

  • Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and food production regulations

  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical setting preferred

  • Culinary school training preferred
