Personal Care Aide (PCA)

In this important role, youโ€™ll help clients with daily living activities and provide the support they need to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

  • Tuberculosis (TB) screening/QuantiFERON/Chest X-Ray (within 1 year)
  • Proof of U.S. work authorization (valid, unexpired documents: government issued ID)
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, and medication reminders.
  • Mobility Support: Assist with walking, transfers, repositioning, and toileting needs.
  • Meals & Housekeeping: Prepare meals, do light cleaning, laundry, and change linens.
  • Transportation: Take clients to appointments or run errands when needed.
  • Safety & Records: Keep the home safe, report changes, and document care provided.
  • Companionship: Offer support, conversation, and respect for client privacy.
