Pharmacist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
As a Pharmacist at the Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center, you will play a critical role in patient care, providing essential pharmacy services including:
  • Screen patient charts to ensure medication orders align with chart notes, lab work, vitals, and allergies.
  • Process new medication orders.
  • Fill and check prescription orders for accuracy.
  • Educate patients on medication therapy, use, storage, precautions, and side effects.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team and providers for timely pharmaceutical services.
  • Answer provider questions regarding drug therapy.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies and adverse reactions.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls, take refill requests, and input outside prescriptions.
  • Perform controlled substance audits as directed.
  • Perform IV admixtures and inpatient drug distribution per facility policies.
  • Administer immunizations (certification required).
  • Provide blood pressure screenings per clinical guidelines.

Pharmacist - REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Current, active, unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a registered Pharmacist.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Immunization certification.
  • Two (2) professional references from current or previous supervisors.
