Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse and forklift experience, be comfortable pulling and preparing orders, and be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate must be forklift certified and have a minimum of 3 years of warehouse and forklift experience. Experience operating a clamp forklift is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull, pick, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Verify quantities, products, and order information for accuracy.
  • Receive, organize, and store incoming materials.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory counts and product location management.
  • Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
  • Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Properly handle and protect products to prevent damage.
  • Work cooperatively with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse and forklift experience.
  • Current forklift certification required.
  • Experience with order pulling/picking and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand work instructions, safety procedures, labels, and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete orders.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating a clamp forklift strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Experience with inventory systems, scanners, or warehouse management systems.

Physical Requirements
