Warehouse Sales Manager
Reports to the Vice President - of Supply Chain Operations

Primary Responsibility:
This position is an individual contributor role focused on driving new sales and acquiring newย customers for warehouse services. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying andย developing new business opportunities, particularly by targeting potential customers and expandingย sales within existing assigned accounts. Additionally, the role involves actively responding toย customer needs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building long-term relationships to fosterย repeat business. The Sales Representative will also monitor accounts receivable related to newย sales, ensuring timely payments, while working within budget guidelines to control expenses. Thisย role requires a proactive approach to growing warehouse sales through effective businessย development and relationship-building strategies.

Essential Functions:
1. New Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers for warehouse services.
  • Generate and pursue new sales opportunities within targeted markets.
  • Establish a pipeline of leads through various sales techniques, including cold calling,ย networking, and referrals.

2. Sales Growth & Account Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow sales within existing assigned accounts.
  • Increase sales revenue through the identification and cultivation of new businessย opportunities.
  • Regularly visit and engage with existing customers to expand sales and ensure ongoing customerย satisfaction.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeatย business.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issuesย promptly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and personalized service.

4. Accounts Receivable & Financial Monitoring:

  • Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable related to new sales, ensuring timelyย payments.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure that payments and invoices are processed according to company standards.
  • Ensure all financial transactions align with the companyโ€™s budget guidelines and standards.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt salesย strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance inย GHRA systems.
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress on sales goals and customer acquisitionย efforts.

6. Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer support, and logistics, to ensureย seamless experience for customers.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and preferences to help improve service offerings and salesย strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall team sales targets and support colleagues in achieving teamย goals.

7. Sales Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales transactions, customer communications, andย potential leads.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and contracts for new customers.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in a similar industry (warehouse, logistics, or relatedย fields preferred).
  • Experience in new customer acquisition, business development, and growing sales in assignedย accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to buildย relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse services and logistics is a plus.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent workย experience).

Additional Requirements:

  • The work conditions are primarily in a retail setting of a customer store, vehicle, orย occasionally in an office environment.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and a good driving record.
  • Be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • May be standing or sitting for extend period of times
  • Extended period of time working in front of computer monitor
