  • Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complete, including bills of lading and packing slips.
  • Work closely with carriers, drivers, logistics partners, and internal teams to support on-time delivery performance.
  • Escalate service issues, transportation delays, and operational risks when necessary.

Inventory Control & Quality
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation activities, and inventory investigations.
  • Coordinate product returns, quality control processes, and inventory disposition activities.
  • Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper storage practices, including FIFO requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with freight claims and damage reporting processes.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain operational reports and performance metrics related to warehouse activities.
  • Monitor warehouse performance against productivity, inventory accuracy, and service KPIs.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining warehouse procedures and documentation.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in interactions with customers, carriers, and business partners.

Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and active participation in health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and workplace observations.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Support employee training, emergency preparedness activities, and ongoing safety education.
  • Participate in site opening and closing activities as required.

You Have
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience leading, training, or coordinating warehouse teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience working with freight carriers and transportation coordination preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and RF technology.
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements, warehouse safety practices, and material handling equipment.
