Warehouse Worker

Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Purchasing and Warehouse team, the Warehouse Worker is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the business's best interest. The Warehouse Worker is responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and overall business satisfaction while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. 

Position Functions
Essential Functions
•    Receive and process warehouse stock products, checking for quality and quantity. 
•    Receive large quantities following the business policies and procedures. 
•    Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
•    Receive, store, and transfer food items using appropriate health and safety procedures.
•    Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
•    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
•    Maintain a clean and safe working atmosphere.
•    Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
•    Stay up to date with industry standards by participating in educational opportunities.
•    Maintain documentation for procedures, processes, and inventory management.
•    Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
•    Track purchasing forms and inventory using the CRCR accounting system. 
•    Receive, store, and transfer food items using appropriate health and safety procedures.
•    Work with Accounting to rectify any payment issues. 
•    Identify systemic issues early and propose solutions.
•    Reconcile Purchasing accounts, reviewing vendor invoices, and reconciling with approved purchase orders.
•    Assist Team Members as necessary.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
•    Must be at least 18 years of age.
•    High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). 
•    1+ years of experience working in a warehouse. 
•    Must have a valid CA driver’s license and have a clean driving record.  
•    Knowledge of Warehousing and Receiving, including procedures and applications. 
•    Understanding of Purchasing systems.
•    Basic math skills. 
•    Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Proficient data entry ability.

Preferred qualifications:
•    2 + years of Warehouse experience.
•    1+ years of Accounting, Purchasing, and inventory management software experience. 
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Forklift certification.
