Job description

Hiring Immediately – 1st Shift Production Lead – Olive Branch, MS:
Inergroup is hiring immediately for a First Shift Warehouse Production Lead in Olive Branch, MS. As a Warehouse Production Lead, you will oversee daily lumping and unloading operations, ensuring trailers are unloaded efficiently, safely, and in alignment with production goals. You will lead by example on the warehouse floor, coordinating teams to meet or exceed safety, quality, productivity, and customer demand metrics in a fast-paced distribution environment.  Weekly pay starting at $20–$21/hr, with great benefits available.

Warehouse Lead Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise teams to ensure timely and accurate unloading of inbound freight
  • Monitor workflow on the dock to maintain steady production and minimize downtime
  • Ensure proper handling, sorting, and staging of products 
  • Enforce all safety policies including proper lifting techniques and equipment use
  • Conduct on-the-floor training for new and existing employees on unloading procedures, safety practices, and productivity expectations
  • Track and report productivity, damages, and any operational issues to management
  • Inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies or damages
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to improve processes using lean manufacturing principles
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the dock and in unloading areas
  • Step in and assist with physical unloading duties as needed to support team productivity
  • Communicate effectively across shifts and with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Warehouse Lead Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in unloading, lumping, or dock operations
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Flexible and dependable with a strong work ethic
