Job Summary:

Custom Foods is the leading frozen dough manufacturer in De Soto, KS. We employ Great Dough Heroes, and are looking for another person to join our squad! We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations, including organizing raw materials, staging ingredients for production, and maintaining accurate inventory. This role is primarily warehouse-focused, with some responsibilities in shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a problem solver, safety-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee storage, organization, and staging of raw ingredients and packaging.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and month-end reconciliation.
  • Ensure production is fully stocked with required materials for each shift.
  • Receive and label incoming materials; record lot numbers for traceability.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
  • Support shipping & receiving by palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and verifying outgoing shipments as needed.
  • Maintain FIFO inventory practices and ensure food safety/quality standards are met.
  • Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
  • 1st shift (Approx. 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday)
  • Pay: $15-$20 per hour based on experience

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience required (food manufacturing a plus).
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to use inventory software.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
