Job Title: Warehouse Order Selector
Reports To: Outbound Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Classification: Full-time
Job Summary: The Warehouse Order Selector accurately picks and packs products to complete sale orders using proper lifting and pallet stacking techniques.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Follows directions accurately, consistently, and safely.
  • Correctly identifying and receiving cases of product into inventory locations, using various warehouse equipment.
  • Handles stock rotation, shipping of cases throughout the warehouse and loading or unloading of trucks.
  • Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts, Clamp Pickers, Electric Floor jacks, etc.) to include daily maintenance.
  • Maintains computerized inventory control records with every product movement (receipts, shipments, transfers within the warehouse, product returns, etc.).
  • Accurately pick, pack, palletize, wrap, and tag special transfer orders.
  • Hand-stacking cases of product in a specific sequence and location on a delivery truck.
  • Removing cases of product from delivery trucks.
  • Returning undelivered cases to their proper inventory locations.
  • Moving and stacking cases for the purpose of conducting physical inventory.
  • Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
  • Repacking bottles of product into special packages for special promotional programs.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
  • Cooperate with supervisors and peers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of how to arrange product and maintain slots and inventory in the inventory system utilizing the RF scanner.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Monday through Friday, starting at 12:00pm.
  • Start and end times are subject to change and determined by workload.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Represents SCP's commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values.

Education/Experience:
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • OSHA Certified preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, frequently.
