Position Summary

As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing grocery and perishable products for shipment to retail stores. Using a voice-directed picking system and ride-on electric pallet jack, you'll help ensure products are delivered efficiently and accurately.

This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, walking, bending, and pallet building throughout the shift.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Select grocery, frozen, refrigerated, and other perishable products using a voice-directed picking system.

  • Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to transport products throughout the warehouse.

  • Build and palletize customer orders according to company standards.

  • Prepare completed pallets for shipment to retail locations.

  • Verify order accuracy and maintain productivity standards.

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Work efficiently in various temperature-controlled environments, including freezer and refrigerated areas.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move continuously throughout the shift.

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred
  • Previous warehouse, order picking, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.

  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.

  • Familiarity with voice-directed picking systems.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 60 pounds.

  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer, refrigerated, and ambient warehouse environments.

  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after training and certification.
