Job Summary:

The Order Picker will retrieve stock to fill customer orders and transport items to the shipping dock for loading.

40+ hours a week. Starting pay $19.35/hr. This is a 3rd shift position Sunday thru Thursday.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receives orders and retrieves goods from warehouse.
  • Checks list for accuracy and inspects collected goods.
  • Delivers materials to loading dock for loading and updates computer ordering system.
  • Palletizing product as selected in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Uses an order-picker truck to pull orders when needed.
  • Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Requires working until all product in accurately selected and loaded.


Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
  • Basic math, language and reading skills.
  • Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.


Education and Experience:

  • We are willing to train.



Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in areas with temperature and humidity differences depending on selecting location. Dry, Cooler and Freezer.
  • Must be 18+ to operate equipment.
