POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for accurately picking product (finished gifts) using an RF scanner in cold storage (-10 to 40).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick product using a RF scanner in cold storage pulling the correct SKU and quantity
  • Use RF scanner to input data into warehouse management system
  • Palletize product and moves pallet to staging area using a hand-jack
  • Able to meet or exceed production standards
  • Comply with all SQF (safe Quality Food) standards
  • Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance

EDUCATION AND/OOR EXPERIENCE

  • Some high school education required
  • 6+ months experience working in a distribution center desirable
  • Basic reading and math skills (counting, matching, adding, subtracting, and multiplying) required
  • PC skills or previous inventory scanning equipment experience required

PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT

  • Able to work in cold storage for the entire shift (-10 to 40)
  • Able to walk and stand for the entire shift (10-12 hours)
  • Utilize a hand-jack in a controlled and safe environment
  • Able to lift 20-30 lbs. continuously, and 50lbs. occasionally
  • Able to climb stairs in cooler and freezer
  • Able to maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
