Job description

Summary
The CDL Driver with Warehouse Experience is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional pickup and delivery of fresh produce between Nogales and Rio Rico. This role plays a key part in supporting daily logistics operations, including local transfers between our facilities or to and from local produce suppliers (within a local, short-haul radius, or within a 150-air-mile radius). When not driving, this role supports warehouse operations by assisting with loading and unloading, inventory rotation, equipment use, and sanitation. This position requires strong work ethic, adaptability, and the ability to coordinate effectively with the operations team.
The ideal candidate is dependable, familiar with local produce warehouses, and able to represent Ciruli Brothers in a professional manner while maintaining strong working relationships with external partners. This position requires the position holder to undergo and pass a motor vehicle history check and maintain a current, valid CDL license in Arizona. The position holder will be unable to perform driving responsibilities until clearance has been given by management to do so.
Key Responsibilities
Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
  1. Driving amp; Local Transportation
    1. Pick up and deliver fresh product within Nogales and Rio Rico.
    2. Complete local transfers between CB and C amp;V facilities.
    3. Maintain knowledge of local produce warehouse locations.
    4. Ensure safe vehicle operation and compliance with DOT regulations.
    5. Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation as required.
    6. Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements, including understanding traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing required documentation.
  1. Warehouse Operations Support
    1. Assist with loading and unloading product.
    2. Support inventory rotation and staging.
    3. Use forklift and pallet jack when required.
    4. Perform bird-dog duties during loading or quality checks.
    5. Assist with general warehouse sanitation.
    6. Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned.

    1. Communicate effectively with the operations team to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
    2. Build and maintain strong rapport with local warehouse contacts.

    2. Model and abide by food safety SOPs and SSOPs while in production areas.

Qualifications
Education amp; Experience
- Maintain a current CDL driverโ€™s license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.
- Maintain a current DOT-registered medical card.
- Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience.
- Must pass an MVD motor vehicle history check.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
- Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements and have preapproval to drive.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred (or willingness to train).
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or produce handling environments beneficial.
