Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. has been a trusted distributor of industrial fasteners, construction products, and industrial supplies throughout the Western United States. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Denver distribution operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, fleet oversight, employee development, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and enjoys building high-performing teams while continuously improving operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all warehouse operations while ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately, inventory is maintained, and employees work safely and efficiently.
Warehouse Operations
  • Lead all receiving, warehousing, shipping, production, and packaging operations.
  • Ensure customer orders and supplier shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Develop labor plans to maximize productivity while controlling operating costs.

Fleet & Delivery Management
  • Schedule and oversee daily local and regional delivery routes.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish measurable goals.
  • Manage attendance, scheduling, overtime, and paid time off.
  • Foster accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
  • Handle employee coaching, corrective action, transfers, and terminations in partnership with Human Resources.

Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Report and document workplace incidents promptly.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Branch Leadership to meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate operational updates and staffing needs.
  • Support company initiatives and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of warehouse management experience
  • Experience managing operations within a distribution environment
  • Experience supervising warehouse teams
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations
  • Experience with labor planning and workforce scheduling
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred
  • Fastener, industrial distribution, construction supply, or MRO industry experience
  • Fleet management experience
  • Continuous improvement or Lean process experience
