Warehouse Operations Associate

Pay: $18-$24 per hour

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Mechollage is a locally owned, veteran-owned HVAC company serving homeowners throughout the Virginia Beach area since 2009. We're looking for a dependable Warehouse & Inventory Associate to help keep our operations running efficiently behind the scenes.

If you enjoy staying organized, working with your hands, and being part of a team that supports technicians in the field, this could be a great fit. This role combines warehouse operations, inventory management, and local parts deliveries to help ensure every job is prepared for success.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming HVAC equipment, parts, and materials
  • Pull and prepare materials for upcoming service and installation jobs
  • Deliver parts, equipment, and supplies to technicians and local job sites as needed
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Verify shipments using packing slips and purchase orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate when materials need to be reordered
  • Process warranty returns, core returns, and other vendor returns
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse organization projects
  • Keep company vehicles, warehouse spaces, and storage areas clean and well maintained
  • Dispose of scrap materials and outdated equipment in accordance with company procedures
  • Support the team with additional warehouse and logistics tasks as business needs require

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or material handling
  • HVAC, construction, plumbing, electrical, or other skilled trades experience is strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
  • Comfortable using basic computer programs for inventory tracking and deliveries
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced workplace
  • Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and safely load and unload materials
  • High school diploma or equivalent
