Job description

Warehouse Material Handler

Kent is looking for warehouse material handler personnel to support materials management activities for a project based in Ingleside, Texas. This individual will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking, and issuing materials to support project operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse documentation processes.
  • Organize and store materials according to preservation and handling requirements.
  • Issue materials to project teams while ensuring traceability and inventory control.
  • Support cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate shipment, delivery, and logistics activities.
  • Maintain housekeeping and warehouse safety standards.
  • Support preservation activities for stored materials when required.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Knowledge/Qualification/Training/Certification:

  • 5+ years of warehouse, materials handling, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting industrial, construction, or Oil & Gas projects preferred.
  • Forklift certification advantageous.
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse procedures preferred.
  • Full Clean Driving License

Communication:

• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, warehouse personnel, and supervisors.
