Job description

Position Impact
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of products within the warehouse. This role includes receiving, storing, picking, and shipping inventory while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards. This will be starting as a seasonal role through peak season, ending at the beginning of January 2027, with potential to remain on staff long term.
Essential Job Functions

  • Strong desire to learn the processes and duties required to support the EMG business model and the superior EMG service standards.
  • Promote a safe work environment through personal actions and promptly report any safety concerns to management. Comply with OSHA standards.
  • Ability to follow directions from leadership and perform assigned tasks at a high level of efficiency with minimal supervision.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including company equipment and materials; remove loose debris and sweep as needed.
  • Pick, prepare, and load outbound shipments accurately, ensuring items, quantities, and documentation align with customer specifications. Report discrepancies promptly.
  • Accurately process inventory transactions using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Meet or exceed the productivity, quality and accuracy goals of EMG.
  • Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for damage, documenting issues with paperwork and photos, and notify leadership as needed.
  • Maintain all required documentation and paperwork as required
  • Understand and follow all warehouse safety standards
  • Obtain certification and operate various types of Material Handling Equipment and attachments safely as trained.
  • Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Associate Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned, including cross-training, project based work and assisting other departments in the warehouse as needs arise.

  • Should be able to stand for long periods
