Factory Warehouse Associate - Southern Pines, North Carolina

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Factory Warehouse Associate located at our Southern Pines, NC facility.  The hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.  The starting rate of pay is $17.37 per hour with an increase at the 3rd and 9th month of employment.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Move returned products from dock to processing areas; unpack, sort, and dispose of packaging materials.
  • Receive, inspect, test, and process customer returns; enter return and defect information into the Return Goods System.
  • Sort products and components to designated locations, including First 50 and data sample products.
  • Clean, inspect, refurbish, package, label, and prepare products for shipment according to quality standards.
  • Operate equipment including conveyors, label applicators, tape machines, and scrap/recycling equipment.
  • Process customer orders by picking, packing, kitting, assembling, and shipping products and parts.
  • Operate shipping and inventory systems; complete required documentation and maintain records.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Assist with loading/unloading containers and validating inbound and outbound shipments, reporting discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 months of related experience.
  • Ability to read instructions, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and climb ladders, stairs, and ramps as needed.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently use hands and arms for handling, reaching, and manipulation.
  • Forklift certification preferred
