Job Description Summary:The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distribution center to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe handling of goods. This role manages warehouse teams, monitors inventory accuracy, enforces compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and ensures seamless coordination across inbound, storage, and outbound functions. The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and developing frontline leadership within a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center environment.Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, putaway, inventory control, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping.
  • Team Management: Direct and develop Supervisors, Leads, and associates; foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation; ensure alignment between ERP/WMS systems and physical stock.
  • Customer & Compliance: Ensure all shipments meet customer routing guides, retailer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and monitor SOPs, quality control procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Safety & Equipment: Enforce workplace safety, conduct safety training, and ensure proper use and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Global Logistics, customer service, Sales Ops, and supply chain teams to align warehouse operations with company objectives.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipments, labor efficiency, and cost per order; implement corrective actions where needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of warehouse or distribution center experience, with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams in a high volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); SAP, Manhattan SCALE, or similar preferred.
  • Solid understanding of logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and drive performance improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to influence across departments.
