Job Title:ย Warehouse Outbound Managerย 

Reports To:ย Warehouseย Managerย ย 

FLSA Status:ย Exemptย 

Classification:ย Full-timeย 

Job Summary:ย Theย Warehouse Outbound Managerย willย overseeย the daily functions of theย outbound team,ย includingย supervising, training, delegating, and more.ย 

Supervisory Responsibilities:ย 

  • Lead outbound shift warehouse employees and serve as a coach and mentor to include constructive andย timelyย performance evaluations, appraising performance, and resolving issues.ย 

Duties/Responsibilities:ย 

  • Manage all functions ofย outboundย shift to include processes, procedures, andย team members.ย ย 
  • Verifyย nightly attendance and duties of production personnelย to include full and part-time team members.ย ย 
  • Accurately, consistently,ย and safely follows/gives direction; involved in stock rotation or transferring of cases to various locations throughout the warehouse and/or in loading or unloading of trucks. Including any or all the following activities:ย ย 
  • Operating various pieces of warehouse equipment (Forklifts, Clamp Pickers, Electric Floor jacks, etc.) to include daily maintenance.ย ย 
  • Supervises safe and proper picking/filling of customer orders to complete loading of delivery trucks.ย ย Minimizes the potential for product breakage.ย ย 
  • Observes safe product handling techniques.ย ย ย 
  • Ensure all delivery vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently in preparation for nextย dayย deliveries.ย ย 
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the orders fulfilled by the pickers.ย ย 
  • Ensure thatย theย teamย maintainsย production quota to produceย timelyย performance.ย ย 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and conciselyย withย team members and management.ย 
  • Other duties as assigned.ย

Education/Experience:ย 

  • 2ย years ofย previousย warehouse experienceย orย fast-pacedย management experience preferred.ย 
  • 2ย years ofย previousย Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency (RF), or relatedย experienceย preferred.ย 
  • OSHA Certifiedย preferred.ย 

Physical Requirements:ย 

  • Administrativeย 40%ย 
  • Walking, Bending, Lifting, and Twistingย 60%ย
