Woodland Cabinets Inc. is a fast-growing Cabinetry company located in West Sacramento, CA. We are looking for a passionate and organized warehouse manager to oversee the warehouse operation, which includes order picking, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions, including training, evaluating, and rewarding staff. You will ensure the maintenance of warehouse assets.

To ensure success, you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits. Top applicants are dedicated, competent, and have strong leadership skills.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implementing warehouse operational policies and procedures.
  • Implementing and overseeing safety procedures.
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Motivating and disciplining staff.
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
  • Assisting with deliveries where required.
  • Corporate with the other departments to achieve the best results efficiently.

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

  • 10+ years of warehouse management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures, warehouse ERP system, and RF-Smart scanner.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate forklift effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Available to work extended hours.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety.
  • Spanish and Chinese are a plus
  • Military experience is a plus
  • FedEx/UPS/logistics distribution center management experience is a plus
  • Cabinet acknowledgment is a plus.

Education

  • Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience and proven math, reading, and writing skills instead of formal education.
  • A lift truck certificate of basic training
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in warehouse management
