Our CALGARY BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a WAREHOUSE MANAGER to join our team!

What You Will Do:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, packing, and timely dispatch of warehouse inventory while directing staff to follow policy and procedures. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

  • Successfully lead our warehouse operations and support the branch logistics, shipping, and inventory controls while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Manage a team of 8-12 people consisting of shipper receivers, parts handlers, and delivery drivers through coaching, mentoring, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and management

  • Inspect warehouse equipment and racking; arranging repairs as needed

  • Process special order product returns and warranty claims

  • Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders

  • Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices

  • Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

  • Two (2) years of warehouse management experience combined with five (5) + years of progressive experience in a warehouse environment is required

  • Experience in aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred

  • Experience in inventory management and warehouse equipment (forklifts, RF scanners) is preferred

  • Must meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift to 75 – 100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers.

  • Strong people management skills – you thrive on building successful teams

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills — you don’t just spot issues, you fix them fast.

  • A team player with a no-excuses attitude — you do what it takes to get the job done right.

  • Strong follow-up and accountability mindset — you don’t let issues slide.

  • Must have open availability including Saturdays
