Description:

Mittera is looking for a Machine Operator to join our growing team! The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used to manufacture trading cards. This position ensures machines run safely and efficiently while meeting quality, production, and packaging standards.

· Operate and monitor printing, cutting, sorting, collating, and packaging machinery.

· Set up machines according to production orders, specifications, and job requirements.

· Load paper, card stock, inks, packaging materials, and other production supplies.

· Monitor machine performance and make routine adjustments to maintain product quality.

· Inspect trading cards for print quality, alignment, cutting accuracy, color consistency, and defects.

· Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical or equipment issues to maintenance personnel.

· Complete machine changeovers between different card designs or production runs.

· Maintain accurate production counts and complete required production paperwork.

· Keep the work area, machinery, and equipment clean and organized.

· Follow all safety procedures, quality-control requirements, and company policies.

· Package and label finished trading-card products as required.

· Work with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals.

· Perform other production duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Previous machine operation, manufacturing, printing, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred.

· Ability to read and follow production instructions and specifications.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

· Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

· Ability to lift and move materials as required by the production environment.

· Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.


Physical Requirements

  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending
  • Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination
  • Requires near visual acuity
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
