Position Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the production of a quality finished product that meets customer specifications and company standards. Leads and manages production line employees to maintain safe, efficient, and productive operations. Oversees daily activities on the production line, monitors workflow, and helps ensure production goals are met. Responsible for training and coaching team members on production processes, safety procedures, quality expectations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Promotes compliance with company policies and supports a positive and productive work environment

Essential Functions:

ยท Works in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production results.

ยท Knowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production line.

ยท Responsible for work packets being filled out both correctly and accurately.

ยท Performs all computer functions as they pertain to this job.

ยท Maintains a safe work environment.

Requirements:

ยท Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

ยท High School Diploma/GED and/or one or more years of experience in warehouse production preferred.

ยท Understands quality standards, methods, and reporting as required.

ยท Good communicator, team player and multi-tasking skills.

ยท Plans in advance for production in your area.

ยท Interprets instructions both oral and written in English.

ยท Produces at a high level through your staff.

ยท Works with plant management for required results.

ยท Comfortable with WMS systems and Microsoft Office.

ยท Must have physical dexterity of hands and fingers.

ยท Provides client-focused customer service to truck drivers.

ยท The associate must know and follow proper office and GMP safety protocols; know and follow Companyโ€™s grooming, hygiene and dress code policies including appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) for safety compliance.

Work Environment:

ยท The employee is frequently exposed to moving machinery.

ยท The job will occasionally require lifting / carrying / push / pull up to 50 lbs. and work in all weather conditions.

ยท The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

ยท This job will require work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse (indoor temperature fluctuates through each season).

ยท This job may require extended hours, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, and other shifts and overtime as needed, to meet customer requirements.

ยท This job requires standing or walking for long periods of time and performing tasks at heights.
