General Job Description
IES Residential, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and preparation of materials, tools, and equipment for operational teams.
This is a quick hire opportunity for a motivated candidate who is organized, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Previous warehouse, inventory, construction, labor, or material handling experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, stock, organize, and distribute materials, tools, parts, and equipment.
  • Pull, stage, load, and unload materials for project and operational teams.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, packing slips, reports, and material documentation.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, stock rotation, and discrepancy reporting.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, safe, and ready for daily operations.
  • Communicate with supervisors, warehouse staff, purchasing, and field teams regarding material needs and inventory updates.
  • Track tools, equipment, returns, damaged materials, and job-site supplies.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and forklifts when trained or certified.
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures.
  • Provide professional, respectful service to coworkers, vendors, customers, and business partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach, climb ladders or stairs, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Work may take place in warehouses, active job sites, indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather or job-site conditions.
  • May be exposed to construction noise, dust, tools, equipment, and moving materials.
  • Must be able to use warehouse equipment, tools, phones, tablets, computers, and inventory systems.
  • Must be able to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
  • Must maintain dependable transportation for reliable attendance.
  • Travel may be required to support warehouse, supplier, project, or operational needs.
