Job Title: Inventory Manager
Job Description
This Inventory Manager role oversees end-to-end inventory and replenishment operations across retail stores and third-party logistics partners, ensuring products move efficiently and accurately through a high-growth warehouse environment. The position combines hands-on leadership in the warehouse with regular participation in corporate leadership meetings to drive continuous improvement, scalability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage overall inventory operations, including replenishment activities for retail stores and third-party logistics partners, to ensure accurate stock levels and timely product flow.
  • Oversee daily warehouse inventory processes, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and cycle counting, to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage and develop a team of approximately 40 employees, including forklift drivers, machine operators, inventory coordinators and specialists, replenishment team members, and warehouse staff.
  • Provide direct leadership and support to 3 team leads, ensuring they effectively coordinate and guide their teams to meet operational goals and performance standards.
  • Supervise 5 forklift drivers and 5 machine operators, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Lead and mentor an inventory team of 4 coordinators and specialists, with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, data integrity, and process adherence.
  • Oversee a replenishment team of approximately 20 employees, ensuring timely and accurate replenishment of inventory to support high-volume outbound operations.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate leadership, attending leadership meetings at the corporate facility approximately twice per week to align inventory and warehouse strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Use inventory management and logistics systems, including the current Qantel platform and future technology solutions, to monitor stock levels, analyze trends, and drive data-based decisions.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to create and maintain reports, analyze inventory data, and support forecasting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and replenishment processes, and implement standardized procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures across all warehouse and inventory activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and corporate leadership, to support growth, new initiatives, and operational scalability.
  • Foster a positive, reliable, and accountable team culture, emphasizing strong attendance, professionalism, and collaboration.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory, replenishment, and warehouse operations, and take corrective action to address issues or performance gaps.

Essential Skills
  • 7-10 years of experience in an inventory-focused role, with a strong experience in inventory management and replenishment operations.
  • 3-5 years of management experience leading teams in an operations, warehouse, or inventory environment.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and logistics management tools, including experience working with platforms similar to Qantel.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build and manage reports, analyze data, and support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large, diverse team in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
  • Proven experience overseeing end-to-end inventory processes, including coordination with retail stores and third-party logistics providers.
  • Ability to participate effectively in leadership-level discussions and translate strategic direction into operational execution.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility across all levels of the organization.

Work Environment
This role is primarily based in a warehouse environment and includes both office and corporate settings. The Inventory Manager will have a dedicated office within the warehouse and will spend significant time on the floor overseeing daily operations and supporting frontline teams. The position also involves regular visits to the corporate facility, typically around two times per week, to participate in leadership meetings and strategic discussions. The operation is fast-paced and growth-oriented, with a strong focus on moving high volumes of product efficiently and accurately. The team includes forklift drivers, machine operators handling shrink-wrap equipment, inventory coordinators and specialists, and a large replenishment group, supported by multiple team leads. Technology plays a key role in the environment, with current use of Qantel and a planned transition to new systems, along with regular use of Excel for reporting and analysis. The culture emphasizes reliability, strong attendance, collaboration, and a professional, hands-on leadership style.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
