Job description

JOB PURPOSE:  

The Speech Fulfillment and Inventory Manager oversees all warehouse, inventory, production, demo, and repair workflows related to Speech Generating Devices to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant operations. The role supports device readiness through hands‑on assembly, inventory movement, returns processing, and demo management while partnering with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Will use established tools and procedures to monitor performance, support continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of quality and customer service. 

PAY RANGE:

$59,440 - $89,160 base salary plus an annual incentive performance bonus. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range. Compensation decision depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Participate in all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, physical inventory, product returns, and ensuring availability of clean demo equipment. 

  • Support D365 inventory management activities, including inventory movements, error log resolution, work-in-process (WIP) monitoring, cycle counts, physical inventory, audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives to minimize shrinkage/loss. 

  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve purchase order, receiving, return, and repair discrepancies in a compliant and timely manner. 

  • Implement and utilize tools and processes for tracking, reporting, and auditing speech inventory metrics, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. 

  • Perform production and assembly steps for Irisbond Oskol2 and Jabbla iOS device orders, including software verification, device testing, charging, packaging, and shipment preparation to meet delivery timelines. 

  • Oversee centralized speech device demo inventory, including D365 integration, fulfillment processes, inventory tracking, retirement planning, procurement of replacement units, and identification of best practices. 

  • Build and lead a high-performing and growing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement. 

  • Recruit, hire, and lead onboarding for new team members. 

  • Clean, sanitize, reset, and update returned demo equipment, ensuring removal of PHI and compliance with manufacturer standards. 

  • Track and coordinate demo and customer device repairs, including repair requests, third-party vendor services, manufacturer repairs, and service order inventory management. 

  • Train on and perform speech generating device repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and support timely repair completion and delivery. 

  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with internal teams, vendors, and warehouse personnel through Teams, Outlook, meetings, and daily operational activities to ensure efficient execution. 

  • Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.   

  • Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.  

  • Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times.  Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
