TBest Services is hiring an Inventory Control Associate for a manufacturing client in Elkridge, MD. The company supports electronics and electromechanical production, where accurate parts counting, inventory control, material organization, and proper documentation are essential to keeping production moving smoothly.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to support inventory accuracy, parts tracking, and material flow. This role is responsible for counting, verifying, labeling, organizing, and tracking parts and components used for manufacturing, assembly, and production support.
Responsibilities
  • Count parts, components, and materials accurately using count sheets, barcode scanners, or inventory systems.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy.
  • Identify, report, and help resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, or incorrect part counts.
  • Label, organize, and store inventory in the correct locations.
  • Prepare and pull parts or kits for manufacturing production.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or warehouse management system.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and material movement as needed.
  • Work with production, purchasing, shipping, and receiving teams to support material availability.
  • Follow safety, quality, and inventory control procedures.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, stockroom, or parts control experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Ability to read part numbers, labels, count sheets, and work instructions.
  • Experience with barcode scanners, ERP systems, or inventory software is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
