Join our team:

Poly-Flow is seeking a procurement-Inventory Control associate to join our industrial purchasing, inventory control department. As a production-Inventory Control associate you will plan procurement activities based on inventory usage, maximizing Bill of Materials efficiencies, and incorporate best inventory and supply chain practices to minimize inventory loss. This position will require you to cycle count and purchase required materials in a fast paced, constantly moving manufacturing and assembly warehouse insuring adequate raw materials and components are stocked and procured daily to maintain continuous manufacturing controls. If you are looking to build your career, and join a company that values employee growth and teamwork, we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

  • Support managing materials to meet all market demands while avoiding oversupply
  • Review invoices and accounting documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Enter purchase orders for materials
  • Produce regular progress reports
  • Manage purchasing and inventory accuracy using SAGE ERP
  • Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and audits
  • Assist in raw materials and product planning
  • Oversee excess stock and reconciliation of inventory
  • Train staff on inventory processes

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excell skills
  • Ability to recognize and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Gathers and analyzes data skillfully
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Strong negotiation and analytic skills
  • Prioritize and plan work activities based on daily need with competing priorities and deadlines, and last minute changes
  • Ability to use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans

  • Minimum one-year verifiable experience in Inventory and Procurement experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of computer systems, with routine typing and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Upon being selected for this position you will be required to pass a background check and urinalysis test.
